Madame Peripetie – strange brew

“Madame Peripetie explores the boundaries between fashion,
sculpture and the human body, experimenting with various fabrics and patterns;
whilst infusing high-fashion elements with abstract and conceptual
ideas, creating an eccentric escapade of color and texture. In her work she is
focusing mainly on the interaction between body, language and new media.
Her inspirations include surrealism, dadaism as well as the new wave era of the
80s, British post punk scene and the avantgarde theater of Robert Wilson.”

Leonard Nimoy has started a new photographic series on women (overweight women). I’m not sure what to think of it myself. All God’s children are beautiful. But isn’t there a health issue with people who are greatly overweight?

 

Yakety yak

Strange how everyone has something stuck in their ear, listening to their favourite tunes. And all these folks texting to each other. Emails. Tweets. And yet. I get the impression, listening to the American news programs, that people have lost the ability to listen. To each other. Or themselves.
