There’s something he’s not telling us. Julien Spianti’s work seems both evasive and evocative at the same time. We’re not sure if we’re looking at a business meeting at the lodge, a scene from the SAW series of films, or washed out drawings on an ancient Roman wall. We are visitors. Maybe voyeurs into the private lives of strangers.
